Här är en ny intervju med Eclipse vampyren Jodelle Ferland (aka Bree Tanner).

I intervjun pratar hon om hur det är att vara med i Eclipse casten, hennes karaktär och mer.

Elena Nola:  So, were you a fan of the Twilight series before you got cast as Bree?

Jodelle Ferland:  I had read the books, and I’d seen the movie, and I definitely loved the books.  I mean, I’m a major book horse, and I also really liked the movie too.  So I was a fan of it before I got the part.

What did it feel like to get a part in a story you like so much?

AMAZING!  I mean, it was completely unreal, when you see people pretty much every day and then suddenly they’re ACTUALLY in front of you.  It’s insane, I mean it feels so unreal!

How did you end up getting cast?  Was it something you had reached out on, like have your agent let them know you were interested, or did they just happen to throw the audition at you?

Well, it was the same as any other audition process.  I got a call from my agent that I had an audition for Eclipse, and I went and I did my audition, and then I got a call back, and after that I found out I got the part.

Did it make you nervous going into it, knowing that this was a project you were going to really want to do, or did it help?

I tried to think of it like any other show, because (giggles) if I started to think of it like, “Oh, my gosh, this is Eclipse, if I fail at this audition it’s going to be horrible,” it’s just too much pressure on me.  So I tried to stay calm and act like it was any other show.

Who is your favorite vampire?

Well, my favorite Cullen is Alice—she’s so cute. I love her!

How can you not?  She’s adorable!  How different do you think your experience has been, coming into Eclipse after the franchise was already a national phenomenon, as opposed to the cast members who went into Twilight thinking it was going to be a nothing movie?

(Laughs.)  Well, definitely everybody already knew each other really well. The whole cast was already established.  But they made me feel really welcome, and I was so happy to be a part of it.  It’s a lot similar to when I do a guest star on a series, because everybody already knows each other really well.  They’ve been working with each other for a long time, and then I come on just for a little while.  But I still had a really good time.

On the same line, have you been the recipient of much of the crazy fandom attention yet, other than you know, people like me randomly showing up at your other movies?

I definitely don’t get it as bad as the main stars, who have been doing it since the first movie—Kristin, Rob, Taylor (laughs). They have it a lot worse than I do.  But I’m sure that when I go to the premiere it’s going to be crazy!

Be ready to get screamed at.

Uh-huh.

How much have you gotten to work with the three of them, and the rest of the principles—the rest of the Cullen family?

I was filming for around two weeks, most of that was with the Cullen family.  I also worked with Xavier Samuel, he plays Riley.  I actually didn’t

have any scenes with Taylor Lautner.

Not even during the big fight scene?

Naw.  I didn’t get to work with him, which sucked, but I did get to meet him.  So I was happy about that (laughs).

Richard Roeper är en av de tuffaste kritiker som finns, gav hans åsikt om Eclipse. Han tyckte att Eclipse är en av de bästa filmerna av året!!! :D

Så här sa han.

“The first Twilight movie was mediocre and the second one was just laughable and melodramatic and over the top and ridiculous, so I didn’t have high expectations for this one,” said Roeper. “I have to say, this represents one of the most astonishing upgrades in movie franchise history.”

In his review, Roeper attributes this clear improvement, in part, to director, David Slade, and says all three leads raised their game, most notably, Kristen Stewart who’s character is more involved in this movie’s action.

“I can almost not believe I’m going to say this, but this is one of the better movies of the year,” adds Roeper. “It’s really well done, well directed, well acted, has great camera work and a terrific soundtrack.”

Playing big brother to Taylor Lautner and the rest of the wolf pack.
“He’s a good kid. Well, he’s not a kid anymore, he’s a man! He’s a good, young man. He’s very well-spoken, very polite, very humble. And he’s been able to maintain that throughout this whole phenomenon. And that says a lot about him. I’m very protective of all of them and I try to help make sure they’re making the right decisions and maintaining a level head throughout all this.”

Bonding through the many shirtless moments.
“It never really is comfortable, especially with the harsh elements. We were out filming one day and it was super cold. I think we had a bonding experience — me and the wolf guys. We hid behind a tree before a take and we huddled together to keep warm. We knew right then there was no turning back. We were brothers at that point!”

Taylor Lautner, som spelar Jacob Black i Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, ger hans tankar om två Breaking Dawn i en ny intervju med MTV! :) 

“I definitely think it was the right thing to do, for the movie and for the book, It’s hard enough to condense 500 pages into a script, but to condense 800 and everything that’s going on in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ it would have been impossible.”

Taylor also has a part of the new films he’s nervous about–but also really excited for–

“It’s the part I’m most looking forward to and the part I’m most nervous about: Renesmee, the baby,” he said, referring to the vampire baby spawned by Edward and Bella. Upon Renesmee’s birth, Jacob finds himself inexplicably drawn to the baby, effectively ending his feud with Edward over Bella’s heart. “That should be very interesting to film. But I’m looking forward to it! I’ve got the direction of Bill Condon, so I’ll be fine.”

Taylor Lautner also gives his view on new director Bill Condon and the idea that the last two films could be shot in 3D:

“I met him briefly, very quickly, but not about ‘Breaking Dawn.’ He seems like a very nice guy,” the actor said. “Obviously, he’s ridiculously talented, so I’m excited that I’m getting to work with him twice.” “Usually, 3-D is best when it takes you into another world,” he explained. “I could see it going both ways. As long as we have the story line down and as long as we bring what was written on the pages in the book to life, then we’ll be fine no matter what we do.”
