E!Online har en ny intervju med Vampires Suck stjärnan Matt Lanter (aka Edward Sullen).

I intervjun pratar Matt om Twilight fans, hur nervös han var först, när han tänkte att de inte kommer acceptera Twilight/New Moon spoof -

“I really hope I don’t see Robert [Pattinson],” Matt joked to us on the carpet. But that wasn’t what really made him nervous…

“I’m just kidding, Rob seems like a cool guy, I’m sure he’ll laugh about [the film]. I’ve heard he has a sense of humor about it all.”

“It was the Twilight fans, the Twi-hards, who I was really worried about,” Matt said, with a smile that rivals Taylor Lautner‘s pearly whites, might we add. “But they seem to like it actually. I think the Twilight fans have a sense of humor, so it’s making it that much more fun.”

“You get a couple of jokes here and there with other stuff, but it really follows Twilight pretty closely. If you’re a Twilight fan and know the movies you’re going to get a lot of the jokes. We make fun of Becca and Edward. [Kristen Stewart's] name is Becca, we couldn’t use the actual names except Edward and Jacob. We somehow got away with those. Bella Swan is Becca Crain in [Vampires Suck].”

“I actually did read Twilight. I read the book and watched the first couple of movies a lot so I get it,” he said about the franchise. “Even though we are making fun of them, we wanted to pick up on the mannerisms and body movements of the characters. It was fun!”

As for whether Lanter has had any negative feedback from the cast about their new movie, he says not yet.

“I’m not even sure if they all know about it.”

MTV’s Hollywood Crush har en ny intervju med den snygga och talangfulla Matt Lanter,som spelar  Edward Sullen i Vampires Suck -

“‘Vampires Suck’ is a spoof on ‘Twilight,’” Matt Lanter (best known for “90210”) explained to MTV News at last night’s Teen Choice Awards. “I play the Edward character. It was fun. It was great, man. We pretty much follow ‘The Twilight Saga’ and just poke fun at it and have fun.”

Though Matt’s having fun branching out from his regular zip code, the obvious next question is… will millions of “Twilight” fans worldwide have fun, too? According to Matt, Twilighters just might. If they decide to give “Vampires Suck” a chance when it hits theaters August 18, that is.

“Am I scared [of the Twi-hards]? Everybody’s been asking me that. Yeah, I’m scared!” the actor next seen as Edward Cullen — oh wait, I meant Edward Sullen — confessed. Noticeable differences about Matt’s Edward include a hair poof standing at least six inches above his head.

“You know, what’s actually cool, though, is that I’ve gotten a lot of really good responses, a couple of Twitter [responses], you know, stuff like that,” Matt explained. “A lot of people say they’re really excited for it. It’s adding to the story. I mean, let’s face it. They’re so huge and it’s such a successful franchise that we wouldn’t be doing it if it wasn’t for them.”

So just because you’re in love with the “Twilight” films, don’t rule out “Vampires Suck” completely. Maybe it’s your chance to finally have a few laughs over the ridiculous situations those characters get themselves into. Besides, as Matt reminded us yesterday, “Imitation is the greatest form of flattery!”

Under Teen Choice Awards förra veckan, var tre Twilight Saga: Eclipse stjärnor snälla att posade med en EclipseMovie.org läsare Shannon, och de hjälpte också att ta fotot. Så här skrev Shannon:

Här är en översättning som jag har gjort, historian är ganska rolig ! :)

Jag såg Taylor Lautner sitta på raden med sofforna på TCA så jag smög förbi typ 4 eller 5 säkerhetsvakter och gick ner för att ta ett foto med Taylor och jag bara "Kan du göra en roligt ansikte?" och han sa "Jag är inte bra på dem" och jag bara "Nej, du jkan göra det" och han bara "Som vadå?"

och jag sa "Bara gör något" och när jag skulle ta fotot sa jag "Tusan Jag vet inte om jag kan ta på oss båda" så slumpmässigt såg jag inte Alex Meraz och han sa "Jag kan ta det för er!" så självklart gjorde jag en rolig ansikte och Taylor gjorde inte och den sa jag "Åh, kan jag ha en bild med dig?" (till Alex) och han sa "Yeah Taylor kan ta den" men Taylor vände sig om så han sa "strunt i det, här sitt på BooBoos knä" Så han satte mig bokstavligt ner på BooBoos knä och de alla skrattade och han tog fotot på oss och sen sa jag "Kan jag ha en med dig me?" (till Kiowa) och Alex sa: "Kom hit" och satte mig på hans knä!!!! och jag tog två bilder med Kiowa och jag kände mig hemsk för jag inte frågade BooBoo för en bild för jag glömde hela casten, Ashley, Bronson, Jackson, Justin var på samma rad till höger om Kiowa men reklamen var slut och showen började igen så jag lämnade men de var så snälla att jag seriöst kunde ha stannat på deras knä!! Jag var så arg när jag gick tillbaka men de är fantastiska! Jag älska dem!!!!
