IGN intervjuadeTwilight Saga: Eclipse regissören David Slade inne på

David Slade says that “of the three films so far, we were lucky, we got the most action” and that there is “a lot of darkness in this film”. He notes though that “besides the themes we know from the Twilight series….there’s another theme: vengeance.”

Explaining why there might be more action in this film he says: “Edward destroyed Victoria’s love, and she wants vengeance.”

MTV intervjuade nyligen Eclipse Vampyren Jackson Rathbone (aka Jasper Hale). I intervjun berättar Jackson hans spänning för fansen att se Eclipse, och hur Jasper äntligen bli bekväm med Bella:

“I’m really excited for the ‘Twilight’ fandom to check out ‘Eclipse’ because we get to delve into Jasper’s back story,” he told MTV News while out in Los Angeles for the MTV Movie Awards. “It’s one thing that I was really excited about since first filming ‘Twilight.’”

He feels that sharing this with the fans will finally show them another side of Jasper. Plus, it means more one-on-one time with Bella (Kristen Stewart).

“I play this very quiet kind of solitary character,” he explained. “He’s very dark and withdrawn and now with ‘Eclipse,’ we get to see why. We get to go back into Jasper’s back-story, who he used to be his old life and why he’s afraid of himself around Bella. You get to see him warm up to Bella in this third film.”

But that’s not the only thing that’s warm, so is the action. “And a lot of action,” he said. “It’s one of those things playing a vampire but playing a vampire in warfare that something,” he teased.
